Skin Club by DermaGenesis

DermaGenesis®, established in year 2000, is an Aesthetic Development Centre that pioneers in Aesthetic Medical Services, Aesthetic Education, Aesthetic Operations Module and Development of Skincare Products. DermaGenesis, with its insignia of Redefining Skincare® has revolutionized the region’s aesthetic concept by providing straight to the point solutions in the field of Aesthetic Science.

DermaGenesis started its practice in Malaysia by launching DermaGenesis - Advanced Cosmetic Procedure Centre in year 2000. DermaGenesis Advanced Cosmetic Procedure Centre, housed at Desa Sri Hartamas from year 2000 until 2008, specialized in skincare, weight management, anti aging and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. Doctors, trained specifically in Laser and Cosmetic Science, performed the treatments.

The unique concept of “medical based skincare” created intense interest for other doctors who were keen to be part of the Aesthetic Medicine industry which was up-and-coming than. The DermaGenesis Aesthetic Medicine Licensing Program was conceptualized in year 2004 to conduct in-house training for doctors and para-medics that are keen to aspire in this field of Advanced Aesthetics. The training modules were specifically designed to produce a well-learned team who shall independently operate a safe & effective aesthetic centre. As of date, more than 32 units are successfully operating their aesthetic centers in various parts of the region following the Cosmetology Training Program.

In year 2005, DermaGenesis Australia was launched to keep abreast with the evolving field of skincare, aesthetic science and genomic medicine. DermaGenesis Australia was responsible for Research & Development activities. This included, among others, was development of product formulation, treatment protocols, client information kit, operating policies and fair pricing policies. With the assistance of the Research & Development unit, DermaGenesis Product Division launched its hypoallergenic home care range to suit the tropical weather and the Asian skin type. DermaGenesis (Malaysia) also granted exclusive rights to L Oreal Paris allowing them to launch their DermaGenesis range of products, which is now widely available in the region.

In January 2009 in order to meet the increasing demand for physician based skincare services in a spa like environment, from abroad and locally, Skin Club by DermaGenesis was launched. Skin Club, housed over a wide 5000 square feet area, is now considered as one of the most advanced cosmetic procedure centre in Kuala Lumpur.
